First Cereal and Veggies

I love his little face I could just eat it off!

Cereal has been a BIG hit with the little prince. He has loved it from the first little bowl of it and howled for more when we were done. He loves to try anything we are eating and reaches out for cups to try drinks too. When I started with adding veggies into the mush mix he literally tried to eat the spoon and bowl too. He manages to get it everywhere as you can see in the images. Cabott is a great eater. At his 4 month check up he weighed in at a WHOPPING 15 LBS! I am told this is normal, but after have two babies in the 5th percentile for weight and not even hitting 20lbs by 15 months, he is a BIG BOY to us :) His smile lights my days and his snuggles warm my nights.

Put a bird on it

This past weekend I was in Virginia with Cabott for my friend Emily's wedding. Cory and Winter told me over the phone that they had a surprise for me when I got home. I am a hard one to surprise. I ask questions, I figure it out, I am not always pleased with the surprise.

As soon as I walked through the door I wanted my surprise. I was excited because I had no idea what it could be and Cory's grin said it was a good one!

I opened our bedroom door to these...

Cory had painted, accented, and stenciled our bedroom walls. SURPRISE!! and I love it. It is so beautiful in there now, I just want to sit in there all day. Three of the walls are painted the lighter color which matches our sheets. Then this wall is darker with the light color coming through where he stenciled. These 'windows' are horizontal across the top of the accent colored wall, above our bed. Cory created the stencil from tape and his brain. HOW DOES HE DO THAT?! He is so creative, I just love it! We don't have a head board and the bed was a mess cause I had just got back from my trip so that's why the images are only of the 'windows.' You'll just have to trust me, it's beautiful.
