What the Elf happened?

Sneaky little Evan!

 Count down to Christmas...
Does red paint wash out of sheets?

Evan painted the kids noses like Rudolph's

Evan likes to have a good time. He decided Christmas lights make a great zip line.

Mmm today we caught him finishing his breakfast.

Many people found out that Evan was visiting our home this season and all the fun and funny things he had been up to. On this day we went to Cory's parents for a pre-Christmas gathering. Winter's uncle Justin asked what did Evan do today? Winter said: He's on top of Noel. Everyone thought that was pretty funny. Evan is in fact on top of Noel :)
 Snow ball fight!!
Evan left us all new PJs and ornaments then, returned to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.

Evan turned our milk green!

Evan has been bouncin' around our house each night.
We have found him in plants...
Evan loves to read. We found him snuggled up in a stocking reading a book of children's poems.
This morning we found him in the fruit bowl. There are several missing fruits we think he must have eaten in the night.

He turned our milk green one night. Of course it was green, that is his favorite color. Least appetizing color of milk? Green. I should have thought that one through a little better. A whole gallon of green milk was a little hard to drink down. I made sugar cookies to make it a little easier.

Helicopter Pilot?

This is a video of Ledger turning two pretzels into a helicopter. He is making the sound of it flying. He can turn ANYTHING into a helicopter. In October we went to the fire station and saw the life flight helicopter and talked to the pilot. We got to see it take off from 50 feet away. Ever since it has been his new obsession. Maybe he'll be a pilot when he grows up. Do your kids have things that they do that makes you think, maybe when they are older that's what they'll do?

A new Christmas Tradition

Introduction Evan the Elf on the Shelf.
Evan arrived at our house with his book on Sunday. He also brought doughnuts which are our kids favorite treats. Last night, before he was found in the morning, he got into the sugar and left the children a 'snow angel' on the table.

Then on Tuesday Evan was found at the top of our Christmas tree. We don't have a star or an angel. I think he was telling us it's time to get one.

Today we found him in the freezer. I think Evan misses the North Pole.

Cory and I are having a lot of fun coming up with fun things to do with him. Winter LOVES having him hanging around (hardy har har.) It has made this holiday season one of the best yet. Anyone else done some fun things with their Elf on the Shelf?
