My aunt Betsy is a great grandmother to her own grandchildren and was a great grand aunt to our kids. Winter and her went on a treasure hunt down the clam side of the beach. They very much enjoyed their time together.
Our family property is the point of the island. As such it get battered from both sides of two rivers. There creates with rocks in them have had to be added to keep the point from washing away.
The point use to be an old navy look out. This tower has been here since at least WWI. It is the home to an endangered Osprey bird.

There's Ledger running for the water again. This ended up being his swim suite for the trip. Mostly because he was in the water before we could get it off of him.
And it is only far that in PA Winter went in her unddies that Ledger should get to free ball it at the beach. (Sorry I know that is not an appropriate term, but it is what it is)
I want to blow this one up and frame it!
Hey look, that's me!
That's my daddy. He is quite the fisher man. This day he caught a puffer fish.
BIG CAST
To do well fishing here you use blood worms. Pretty gross so a little clean up is needed sometimes.
Ledger partially clothed. We're getting there.
Jelly fish!
Ahhh, deep breath and relax, you are at the Island.
Paradise to be sure
Good sand to be played in. This is my nephew Cameron Richard Dutton.
This was how Cory's kept himself and the kids entertained. Long, long ago, him and a few of his friends built a similar beast on a Florida beach. He has a picture of that one too :)
Ledger was in love with the lawn mower. And look! HE'S CLOTHED
The girl got in on the lawn mower action too. Kayleigh my niece, helped Ledger get around.
